ABOUT LAMBERTS BAY

Lambert's Bay is situated on the West Coast of South Africa about 290 kilometers from Cape Town. Through the years the town has developed from a fishing village into a popular holiday resort.

The area enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate. Winter, the rainy season,has nonetheless many sunny days and is generally mild. Summer is dry and sunny, with the extreme heat tempered by light sea breezes. Early autumn is idyllic(March and April).

The harbour and Bird Island is a constant source of fascination and attracts thousands of tourists every year The main access route is the N7 from Cape Town, turn west on the R364 near Clanwilliam to Lambert's Bay
